In this episode of Inside The Stitches, we go through our fifth division breakdown/prediction, moving on to the NL East! The NL East is one of the most competitive divisions in baseball, headlined by the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets. The Braves, the reigning division champions, are a very complete team and will be very competitive again this season. The Mets are coming off a nice offseason that saw the franchise transition into a new era not only with owner Steve Cohen entering his first season, but with Francisco Lindor now locked up with the team for the next 11 years (we cover the extension a little bit in this episode). The Phillies and Nationals are in interesting, yet places as solid teams with nice talent but a significant lack of depth and several holes that will hold them back, and finally the Marlins who are coming off a surprise postseason berth and will be looking to keep shocking people this season.
