Stephan Meier is a Professor at Columbia Business School & author of 'The Employee Advantage: How Putting Workers First Help Business Thrive'. His work focuses on issues at the intersection of behavioural economics, business strategy, and the future of work. He believes that humans, with our strengths and weaknesses, are at the center of any successful strategy. He studies how various motivations — beyond money — affect decision-makers, including leaders, employees and customers, and how understanding those motivations can guide public policy and firm strategy to change behaviour for the better.
