All we had to do was survive one night in Yuma before spring training. It turned into the most chaotic 24 hours imaginable. Let’s just say the 24 hours we spent there included multiple plot twists, a few moments where we questioned all of our life choices, and at least one situation that absolutely cannot be explained without context.

At one point we were pretty sure the entire trip was doomed…

…and then baseball did what baseball does.

By the end of it we somehow still ended up with field passes, a game, meeting players, and a spring training experience we’ll never forget (even if the interview we drove out for had to be rescheduled).

This story truly gets more unhinged the longer it goes.
