We wrap up the book of 2 Corinthians by exploring the context in which it is written and its importance in understanding the work of the apostle Paul. We explore some of the highlights. We linger for a moment on two notions: (1) principles of Christian giving, and (2) the idea of being a “living epistle.” Scriptures referenced include 2 Corinthians 10:1–2; 2 Corinthians 11:1–12:13; 2 Corinthians 3:1-3; Romans 16:1-2, 1 Corinthians 16:3, 10-11; 2 Corinthians 8:16-24; Psalm 22; Isaiah 53; and 2 Corinthians 13:11-12, 14.
