We’ve been able to connect with some very talented people using Threads and one of those individuals is Detroit soul singer Angela Davis! We were happy when Angela expressed interest in being on the podcast and were thrilled to welcome here to episode 240! We started off by covering some of her early influences growing up in music and what led her to the soulful side of her sound that she harnesses to this day. Angela touched on the contrast of singing solo versus what it’s like performing in different bands and groups she’s been a part of over the years. As an artist with an extensive amount of live performing experience she also told me what it means to be able to feel an audience's energy in both big and small venues. Angela also already has a run of events in the local area lined up as well as more new music she plans to release later this year. We’re thrilled to see what she is able to do next and once again we thank her for wanting to come on the platform to share her time!
