Today on the podcast I am joined by Mark Payne of the band 4 piece death metal/deathcore Indomnius, who originally formed in 2016 in Belfast!

Beginning as a technical death metal act, they  signed with USA label Roxx Records to release their debut EP entitled “Legion Within” – which was released as of September 2nd 2016

Since the release of Legion Within, the bands direction has shifted from the technical to a more brutal, crushingly simplistic form of audio assault that has the sole aim of making the listener feel as if they are “getting hit in the chest with a sledgehammer!” (Road N Load Mag).

The band released their latest single, Black Lake on the 30th of May, which had an accompanying music video that was posted on the YouTube channel of SLAM WORLDWIDE.

The band has performed at a range of local gigs and international Festivals alongside the likes of Suffocation, Marduk, Vader, Misery Index and various other headliners.

I'll be chatting to Mark about the band's history, their latest single, sick 1980s horror style artwork and music video, being an Underground band in today's era of streaming and how to get your music out their and the impact Ai has on creativity and critical thinking.
