It's a pair of pivotal issues from Marvel while IDW's Luke Skywalker-centric The Weapon of a Jedi concludes with a satisfying ending. In Star Wars Adventures #5, which we reviewed in episode #240, a new pair of creative teams proffers entertaining stories about Anakin and Padme and what passes for mentorship in th Empire, at least if you're Wilhuff Tarkin.

The High Republic #6 launches a new arc and sees the arrival of artist Georges Jeanty and inker Karl Story. It's a pivotal issue, setting the stage for the arc to come and, we dare say, some intriguing tie-ins to events that writer Cavan Scott revealed in his audiodrama "Dooku: Jedi Lost."

Doctor Aphra #11 brings the return of the bounty hunter Durge, but is it the last time we'll see him? Hard to tell with a being that's hard to kill. The issue meshes nicely with the War of the Bounty Hunters crossover event, yet also sets the stage for events to come within the Aphra series itself.
