This week at The Film Club we’re talking about Guillermo Del Toro’s first American feature film, Mimic! Join us and friend of the podcast Rene as we discuss this bug filled 90s film! The film takes place in New York City where an epidemic of cockroaches are killing the city’s youth and in an attempt to combat these insects an entomologist is brought in to create a new hybrid bug to destroy the cockroaches. The new species of bug does what it’s designed to do however it continues to evolve and its appetite grows for much bigger prey. Join us as we dive into the world of Mimic.
