This week at The Film Club we’re talking about, The Devil’s Backbone! The film takes place during the Spanish Civil War in a haunted orphanage. A young boy named Carlos has just been dropped off at the orphanage after his father’s death in the war. Carlos learns very quickly that the other boys aren’t the only obstacle he has to contend with he becomes haunted by the spirit of a boy who died there in the orphanage.
