Venice is one of those cities that most people dream about visiting.  They imagine singing gondoliers, excellent Italian cuisine and strolling along the canals where they meet the perfect man or woman to sweep them off their feet.  Hollywood movies aside, Venice can be a destination or just a passing fancy on your way to another land.  Whatever your reasons for visiting, Venice can offer you a peek into history with flair and elegance.  Today, we invite our friend, Heidi, to join us and give her thoughts and insights into this exciting city.
