Bailey Shetter is a student in the Collegiate High program, a partnership between Hamilton County and Chattanooga State. She's been taking classes on our campus since her freshman year of high school, and she will be graduating a year early and attending college a year earlier than planned. In fall 2020, she will begin her studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she hopes to major in genetics and minor in Spanish. Bailey says she may want to go to medical school, but even if she doesn't, she's interested in working in medical research; her sister has been chronically ill for a couple of years, and Bailey is motivated to be one of the doctors her sister needs.
