Hey guys it's RJ, Unique, and Kalhil! In today's episode we're going to be discussing Double Standards. We find ourselves residing in an extremely progressive society. With that being said as far as we’ve progressed as a society in establishing equality numerous unaddressed issues remain as hurdles in our path to complete impartiality and equality. It goes without saying that these injustices apply to all genders, races, and backgrounds, regardless of one’s identity. These injustices continue to cause both separation and division in our society as long as we allow them to exist as normalized patterns of behavior. It ultimately begs the question, "If we truly are equal if the same things aren't applicable to everyone?" Our hope is that our listeners will get something from this deep, honest, and real conversation from the viewpoint of both a Licensed Professional Counselors and a Licensed Social Worker. Stay tuned as we drop new content weekly. If you want to watch this episode we can be found at Try Not To Overthink it on Youtube.
