Emma Sheehan, a RN in Alberta, and I discuss the nursing crisis. Emma has just started in the Emergency Department and shares her experiences on social media. We discuss the importance of patients being independent, some of the abuse nurses face, and some of our own personal experiences as being a patient. We end our conversation talking about the evolution of nursing and where we should be heading as a profession.
