In the 25th episode Kylee Shields talks with her friend and former colleague, Kyle Barth. Kyle talks about different parts of his career as an MFT and VP at Stiry.

Kyle & Kylee both worked together for years at Telos U, an adolescent & young adult residential program in Orem, UT. They talk about this and other experiences as therapists and lovers of storytelling.

ABOUT OUR GUEST: KYLE BARTH

One of the greatest honors of my life is sitting with people in their stories. I have a natural gift for creating a calm, safe, and non-reactive space where real connection can happen. 

As a licensed therapist, I’m on a mission to help individuals and couples build deeper, more meaningful

relationships.

I earned a master’s degree from Oklahoma State University and have advanced training in couples therapy and trauma-informed care. I’ve published research, taught as an adjunct professor, and founded Impactful Counseling. 

Beyond my practice, I collaborate with businesses working to make therapy more effective and improve mental health outcomes.

I’m an avid Utah Jazz fan, lover of the outdoors, and becoming an expert Uno player thanks to my kids. 

Of all the titles I’ve held, Founder, VP, Clinical Director, Therapist—the most important to me is “Dad.” Because at the heart of it all, relationships are what matter most. #girldad
