Nicole Byrum is an author, speaker, and family therapist. She is from Van Wert, Ohio .. where she was born and raised and picked up a love for running at a very young age. Running took her to college, and led her to an early common interest with her husband.
Nicole and I get caught up in fun conversation about her kids' hobbies, punctuation marks, running, & Billy Joel concerts. Then, take a hard, powerful turn towards how she learned perseverance the hard way as a college athlete smack dab in the middle of her childlike love for running. Explore with us how she dealt with the intense desire to quit and where God showed up in this season.
Stick with us to hear stories of family - the gospel of grace - how to navigate anxiety, depression, & addiction - and creating safe spaces in your home while living in a busy, fast-paced, stressful reality.
This podcast episode is brought to you by your local 1/2 marathon and your local coffee shop!! Well, maybe one day it will be. :)
