NextUs818 Podcast is a reflective platform for connecting past successes with future progress in the African-American community. The Inaugural season of NextUs818 focuses on the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the only all African-American, all-female battalion to serve in the European Theater of Operations during World War II.
In Episode 25, we interview a group of 6888th advocates who recently journeyed to Scotland, England and France to walk in the steps of the 6888th soldiers. Our guests in this Episode are Retired Col. Edna Cummings, Author Kaia Alderson and Film Producer and Playwright Crystal Barnes.
