Sarah, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and mental health therapist, opens up about her own trauma and grief, which was tied to her dad having taken his life when she was 10 months old. In her late 20’s, she realized that it was time to do the work to address her depressive tendencies and recognized that “it’s so important, as a therapist, to have a therapist.” Today, Sarah walks the walk in her own life by practicing fierce self-compassion, doing her own therapy and cultivating balance. By opening her own private practice, Rebel Mountain Therapy, she now eagerly takes the journey of healing with each of her clients while sharing the important message that it’s never too early or too late to seek help.
