Spack (short for Supercomputer PACKage manager) is one of the most popular pieces of software the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has ever released to the GitHub open-source community. In ECP, Spack automates the process of releasing versions of math libraries that work together in a single build, thereby making the development of scientific applications better, faster, and cheaper.
