For our fifth venture into the world of Studio Ghibli we take a look at the lowest rated film from the studio.  We gave it a chance and discussed the things we loved as well as its faults.  It's a beautiful film and definitely inspired us to want to read the books they were based on because we could see the potential in the characters and the story, have a listen to hear what we really though about this awesome addition to the Ghibli archives.  As always tangents include accepting our alien overlords, how there should be no politics just anime, Violet Evergarden and war veterans, and anime as a psychological study.
