In this episode, I share an article of a case study where an operator received a right hand injury when an unguarded, rotating mixer shaft caught his gloved hand. Was it open and obvious? We discuss that as well as explaining the safety engineering alternatives available that save lives and body parts and that were left off of this incident machine.
