Artist and Filmmaker Mac Premo returns to the podcast to talk about his new show opening this Friday January 30th at Atelier Jolie in New York and what went into the cathartic process of deconstructing old pieces of his own artwork to reimagine elements of them in the form of collage.  During our conversation we talk about parenting and how we approach creating a special bond with our older children, how living in Germany for several months radicalized his ideas on making art, what he's learned about himself and the fleeting nature of material items in the process of literally taking a saw to his own artistic creations of the past, how we can learn from each other by truly listening and being slower in our reactions, and the unique approach that is going into the installation of his new show.
