This week, we are joined by Kapuskasing, Ontario native, 11 year Pro, former WHA and NHL forward for the Quebec Nordiques, Edmonton Oilers, and St. Louis Blues-Curt Brackenbury-In this interview, Curt shares how his upbringing centered around working in order to survive shaped his character and mindset, the defining moments of his hockey career - how his willingness and want to always compete and often fight sparked a wild journey from the minors to the WHA all the way to NHL where he would eventually land with the 1980s Oilers of Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier in the years prior to their cup runs + how he dealt with difficult times after his career ended and mapped out a path through understanding where his strengths as a hockey player would translate into life - which led him to his current role helping teams, players and coaches achieve their goals through training of the mind and body and finally we change it up a bit in this one and have an open conversation on sports psychology where we discuss the positive and negative powers of the mind.
