Episode 26 - Financial Healing & Wholeness

Listen Later

YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THERE IS AN EXPLANATION FOR WHY I HAVE MANAGED MY MONEY THIS WAY…

How many of you are not even sure where your habits, behaviours or patterns have stemmed from, yet you know that they have derailed you financially over the years? I was that person, unable to articulate why I couldn't change, beating myself over the head with shame, guilt, and blame for not changing my behaviours with money. Unaware that my past trauma, wounds, papercuts, whatever you wish to call them, have played out in my finances.

Financial healing is a journey to wholeness, where we align our mind, heart, and soul. It's not about the destination but the journey at hand where we can hold brave space for our past, present, and future.

One of curiosity, not judgment, this work is not about reliving or rehashing what has happened. Instead, it's about holding the paradox of something terrible in one hand and a fantastic future in the other.

I share with you my own struggles, so you know you are not alone; we all have our shit and manage money as a reflection.

Trauma is trauma, and it doesn't matter if it is a little t or big T. It plays a role in your money. I know, as I used my story as a get-out-of-jail-free card many times and played victim too, but this happened to me. It sure did, but it comes down to our choices regarding how we live because of moving forward.

In this episode we will talk about the four lenses to financial healing and wholeness and how IFS - Internal Family Systems plays a role in our money. When we can acknowledge there are no bad parts only protector parts, we can reflect on why they show up and do the inner work to find healing and wholeness. Through this your finances will thank you!

It's time you RETHINK YOUR FINANCIAL HEALTH, keep a look out for my upcoming book that will take you and your finances to the next level!
