Kwame Asante Ofori our guest on this episode, is a Ghanaian born radio/podcast producer and segment host on Voice of America (VOA News). Kwame joined host, Teddy Abrokwa on zoom to talk about his upbringing and growing up in Ghana. As two individuals with passion and a strong desire for Ghanaian and African music in general to succeed outside of the continent, there was more than enough time to get in some musical history on Highlife, HipLife and the ultimate rise of Afrobeats.  Kwame highlighted two artists that we should keep a close at to on the continent. Having been raised on a diverse musical taste, it’s only natural Kwame gets to co-pick the African song of the week on the VOA platform.
