In Episode 26 I speak to Marie Lahoud. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia as a first generation Lebanese Australian. She comes from a large family of 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. She is also a proud Aunty of an 8 month old boy. Having studied a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing and E-business, she went on to work in the IT industry in marketing and product management for 12 years. In 2016 she decided it was time for a change and was getting tired of the rat race. She found herself quitting her job and volunteering at her church for a couple of days a week. That then turned into being one of the key staff members! Her focus there now is running the Digital Media and making sure they have up to date policies as a church. She is passionate about singing and salsa dancing. She also loves to travel; her favourite destinations so far being Italy and Japan.
