#026 - Preparing to purchase your first home, or upgrading your home for the next stage in your life, can be exciting.  But, we all have financial challenges that we deal with throughout the course of our lives.  Many homeowners (or future homeowners) have debt, some don’t have the necessary savings set aside for a down payment, while others may need to take a few steps to improve their overall credit score.  The bottom line is, most people have work to do in order to be in the best possible shape for qualifying for a home loan.

On this episode, the team examines a real-world scenario that Tab dealt with earlier this year.  A newly married couple, with debt, was looking to purchase their first home.  While they had some work to do, all parties discussed a plan which allowed them to tackle their debt, and work towards the ultimate goal of home ownership.  While spending money is certainly fun, you can also generate satisfaction from saving your money, reducing your debt, and working towards your ultimate wealth building goals.
