Know your role: why are you part of this conversation and what is your role in it?

  • Supported, loved and heard
  • Is this conversation about trying to change someone's opinion or about acceptance?
  • Is this person essential to me?

    • Know the person in front of you (as much as possible)

    • What life experience have they lived?
    • What led them to think that way?
