The “Woke Culture” has been getting so much attention lately that it even seems to be showing up in scripture. Pastors across the country are being told that using the words of Jesus in their sermons is “too woke” or “just doesn’t work anymore.” What are pastors, or the Church as a whole, supposed to do when the people in our pews don’t want to hear what Jesus has to say? The Beyond Sunday Team may not have all the answers, but we promise to have some fun while we wrestle with this challenging question.
