The Artemis II Mission will head to deep space on a 10-day trip around the moon (this mission will not land on the moon) in the fall of 2024. The astronauts who will man this rocket were announced on April 3rd and represent a lot of firsts including the first woman, the first non-American and the first black-American to visit deep space.
