Alright y'all! Welcome back to another beautiful GUEST EPISODE of HTBQ!
This month (May) is Asian Heritage Month in Canada, Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the States, and so as a result we wanted to bring on our friend Michael (he/him) to discuss! Listen to the episode to hear more of Michael's story :)
In this episode we talk about so many things, including representation of queer Asians in Canada, Asian Canadian history, current issues, Phillipines and the Filipino diaspora in Canada, the myth of the Model Minority, and so much more! The episode follows a similar (but not exactly the same) format to our regular episodes, so we aren't giving you exact times of the content. We discuss some news, and then get right into our discussion.
