Jesus is patient with people. This is exhibited throughout the Gospels in his dealings with the disciples - especially Peter. As apprentices of Jesus, we encounter his rhythm of affirmation & confrontation, affection & demand (Reese & Loane, Deep Mentoring 2012, Loc. 2093-2111).
