On this episode, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Mark Powers. Mark is a physical therapist and clinic director for Benchmark Physical Therapy in Savannah, GA. He is also OCS and manual therapy certified, as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists. Mark is a primary faculty member for Benchmark’s manual therapy fellowship and his research interests are in chronic pain management and clinician language.

We discuss with Mark the importance of clinician language, advice of choosing a residency or fellowship program, and treating chronic pain. 

Mark also shares with us his job interview tips as well as his advice to PT students and new grads!
