This is the first part of a two-part series on native languages. In this episode, Carmen Sanchez Garcia and Joe Moody speak with Dr. Daniel Valle Arevalo, Assistant Professor of Spanish Linguistics, on research he did in Peru relating to the Harákmbut and Kakataibo languages. This semester, Dr. Valle Arevalo will be teaching “Indigenous languages” and “History of the Spanish language” through the Department of Modern Languages.
