Welcome back! This is our first episode after a long break. 

I wanted to start with my friends Newton Mayenge and Whitney Bowers.

A lot of exciting life events have ensued with Whitney and Newton since our last chat.

They got married.

They’ve won seven independent film awards (and counting) for the recent “Dark Tales” including Outstanding Achievement for Best Acting Duo.

Newton just wrapped the role of Jim Chones in HBO’s upcoming Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty | Official Teaser | HBO Max, produced by Adam McKay, starring John C. Reilly, Adrien Brody, Jason Segel, Sally Field and more.

Whitney and Newton tell us what it took to get to this magical place while indulging in some celebratory Eggnog and Peppermint Schnapps.
