Episode 27: No One Owes You Anything/Take The L

In this episode of The Pulse, I discuss the importance of realizing that no one owes you anything in life. We've transitioned into a society of always wanting but barely putting the work in to succeed. I talk about a few things: the rich are rich because we (the masses) allow them, money being relative (the idea of telling billionaires to share their wealth while you buy a new iPhone or Samsung Galaxy every year just because it's new), understanding that you're not special in relation to other people (people will always do what's in their best interest), and understanding that it's easy to always want, but what are you going to do to get what you want?
I also touch on the perspective that celebrities are trying to tap into the mental health market to promote their brand, which will lead to smaller brands losing their own notoriety. The rich will keep getting richer, and if you don't start establishing something for yourself, you're going to miss out and start to feel the financial squeeze even more.
And last, I discuss the importance of learning when to take an L (loss). Social contracts exist, but sometimes people and businesses break them. And sometimes it's more freeing to walk away than it is to fight.
