The Maniacs talk through the classic movie Poltergeist from 1982, produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Tobe Hooper. We discuss the story, special effects, the real life tragedies resulting in the film being labelled "cursed", and the controversy surrounding who did in fact direct the majority of the movie. We also have a hard time separating our childhood feelings about it with our adult thoughts, there's another brief cameo from Phil's cat and Peter nearly gets attacked by a tree from his garden.
