Episode 27: Talk Too Much #2 - Kendrick vs. Drake ft. Margarita and Tyhler

Listen Later

Youth Commissioners Margarita Hernandez and Tyhler Nelson reconvene for another episode of Talk Too Much to discuss the drama regarding Kendrick Lamar and Drake. According to Hernandez, the controversy began by Drake referring to himself, J Cole, and Kendrick as the "Big Three". Kendrick responds with a song, singing the words "It's just big me", suggesting that he's better than J Cole and Drake. Then, J Cole disses Kendrick for that lyric, but publicly apologizes after. As the Youth Commissioners dictate, the apology from J Cole relinquishes him from this beef and the battle between Drake and Kendrick officially begins. Tyhler goes on to diss Taylor Swift, unaware that Margarita, herself, is a huge "Swiftie". The Youth Commissioners continue to illustrate the disses thrown between Drake and Kendrick. They go on to disagree with Kendrick bringing Drake's parenting/ children into the music. Further, they investigate Drake's alleged BBL and use of Ozempic (huge shadeeee). According to Nelson and Hernandez, Drake accuses Kendrick of domestic violence, which the Youth Commissioners also disagree with including in the music. Allegedly, according to Kendrick's music, Drake has a secret daughter, which Tyhler and Margarita believe was leaked by someone on Drake's team. This is followed by Kendrick accusing Drake of being a pedophile- specifically referencing his relationship with Millie Bobby Brown. Drake then releases a "weak diss" and Metro Boomin' responds by releasing "BBL Drizzy". It appears as though both Youth Commissioners are on Kendrick's side and prefer Drake's old music.
