In this episode, Gregory Hernandez sits down with Tatiana Tift to discuss her recent short documentary, "El Campo" set in the Dominican Republic.

Tatiana Tift is a NYC-based writer, director, assistant director, and art educator working across dance and narrative short films. Originally from New Jersey, Tatiana has a diverse background in the creative field, in both the visual and performing arts. She has a whimsical and fantastical approach to storytelling and has three award-winning short films, el campo (2024), DAWN (2023), Penny for your Thoughts (2023). She is currently in pre-production for her next short, which centers around the Harlem Renaissance and dance marathons. Since graduating from the School of Visual Arts, Tatiana has been traveling, freelancing, and teaching the visual arts to elementary and middle schoolers throughout the city.
