As we begin our study of 2 Timothy, we reflect on 10 notes about the gospel worker’s life that we learn from a study of the book of Acts and many of Paul’s epistles, including the two to Timothy himself. We explore the meaning of Timothy’s name, his upbringing, his work as a member of Paul’s ministry team and how he conducts himself as a “worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
