Andrew Ripp is working on wrapping a new album as we record this episode. He spends a month on the west coast (to get out of the Nashville heat), so he speaks to me while parked under the palm trees of California.  We chat about where it all started with singing, the pressure of a father, finding your own way, coming into contact with other artists like Richard Marx, and what themes are on the next project.
