Stress is something every adult netballer is dealing with, whether you realise it or not.

In this episode, I talk about the real impact stress has on your performance, your recovery, your motivation and even your confidence on court. Because if you’re over 35, balancing work, family and sport, stress isn’t just part of life… it becomes part of your training load too.

We dive into why exercise, particularly strength training, is one of the most powerful tools you have to regulate stress and improve performance. I also talk about the frustration many players feel when they’re doing “all the right things” but not seeing progress and why pushing harder isn’t always the answer.

I share practical strategies you can use to elevate your state that don’t rely on food or smashing yourself in the gym — things like planning your week better, protecting your sleep, getting outside, and creating small daily wins.
