Who doesn't like a good brick and mortar bookshop? Well, this week, the week of the posting of this episode, a new bookshop will be opening in Fremont called Banter Bookshop. Amy Holmes Davis, a Fremont resident, has taken her love for books to another level and is opening her own bookshop here in Fremont.

Amy, who went to school to be a lawyer and has served as a lawyer for many years, now has set that career path aside to be a small business owner in the downtown Fremont area. In an age where digital media is ruling the world, she brings the city of Fremont a reminder that there is great joy in finding a good book and losing yourself in its pages.

A new report that has come out at the beginning of March stating that Fremont is still the "Happiest City in America." Wallet Hub gave Fremont that title in 2021 and it has now been repeated for 2022.
