Photographer Neal Preston has shot iconic images of rock’s most legendary artists, including Led Zeppelin, Queen, the Who, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, the Allman Brothers, the Eagles, Kiss, Motley Crue, Jimi Hendrix, U2 and Bob Marley. His work has been displayed at the Rock Hall of Fame, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, and the National Gallery in London, and has appeared on the pages of Rolling Stone, People, Life, Time, Newsweek and many more mags. His new book, “Queen: The Neal Preston Photographs,” was released just last week. I sit down with Neal for an exclusive chat about his work and adventures over the last 50+ years on this week’s KMB. We’ll also play music hand-selected by Neal, including a rare bootleg of Led Zeppelin performing live in Germany in 1980.
