Listen Later

The CEO of Watson Innovative Group, Chris shares on his favorite reads for go-getters, helpful tips for today’s educators, and how one’s environment cultivates mindset.
“We must find strength in humility.” Chris says.
“We have to understand that when we show humility it means that we are secure and are coming from a place of strength.  It really is backwards if you think about it, most people think that they need to talk about their accomplishments & success. They also feel the need to criticize others to feel better about themselves.  When we can use our humility to build others up then we now are using our strength for impact.”
Chris is author of the book Earn Your Story, producer of two podcasts, and speaks regularly at education conferences, business organizations, and sales meetings. He currently is pursuing his vision and passion to empower leaders to earn the greatest story ever told.
In college while competing as a collegiate soccer player he learned first-hand the importance of sound leadership, competition, and teamwork. Chris graduated with a degree in business administration. After college Mr. Watson worked for two Fortune 500 companies as a sales manager. In 2009 Chris and his wife Carol moved to Texas where Chris would begin his new career as a secondary educator and varsity soccer coach.
Chris has traveled the world, as well as breaking a world record traveling to all 50 states in 6 days 17 hours and 31 minutes. Chris Watson lives in Frisco, TX with his wife Carol and 2-year-old son Carmichael.
