We sat down with an old  mutual friend and talked about a myriad of K9 related subjects. We discussed k9 tryouts, the vetting process, hairy deployments, the cyclical nature of things, as well as Eddie's K9 attic deployment system. Eddie Wescott is a veteran police officer, with over 34 years of service, including 18 years as a K9 handler and trainer. He retired from the Louisville Metro Police Department where he served as a K9 handler and SWAT officer.  He currently serves as a patrol officer with the Jeffersontown Police Department.
