Supplements are a hot topic when it comes to our health. They can really help us optimize our health, however, many companies promise a quick fix that they cannot deliver. Today we’re discussing how to choose the best supplements for you and what to look out for.

In this episode, you’ll find a blend of our personal experiences with supplements and some science-backed recommendations, which you often won’t find in this unregulated field. We discuss our personal experience finding out which supplements we currently need, how to choose high-quality supplements, and how to distinguish between good science and companies that only have good marketing.

Remember, hearing about a product often doesn’t make it healthy, effective, or what you need at this moment. Taking control of our nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, and water habits is always the first step to improving our health. Once these parts of our lives are in as much order as we can give right now, then we can turn to supplements to fill in the gap.

Supplements are just that - supplemental to your lifestyle choices. Supplements are not a cure or a quick fix.
