We are continuing our family relationships series. Today we are talking about parenting. God has given us the responsibility to manage the 


Foundational Truths:

  1. Your children belong to God and you are a steward of God's property, they are not mine exclusively to rear however I please. (Ezekiel 18:4 All souls are mine, Psalm 127: 3-5 Children are a Gift from the Lord)
  2. You will eventually have to let go of your children. You only have them for a little season. 
  3. Your true identity is in Christ, not your children.

    4. Jesus grew in Wisdom, and stature, in favor of God and man.

    Luke 2:52

    Mentally (academically, emotionally)

    • Eph 6:4, Col 3:21
    • Ex 20:12 Honor Father and Mother
      • Romans 12:11 - overcome evil with Good
      • John 13:34 - love one another
      • Prov 22:6 Train up a child, Prov 13:24
      • Prov 29:15-17, Hebrews 12:11
