In honor of Lauren Smith-Fields birthday I wanted to discuss her story and what happened to her.

On December 12th she was found unresponsive in her apartment and later pronounced dead. But the severe mishandling by police and the leniency given to the suspect in question leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

On this episode I unpack what we know, the disparities in this case and what we can do to ensure Lauren Smith-Fields receives the Justice she and her family deserve.
