Ahoy Hoy! Welcome to another Wednesday morning and another great episode of LIFE WORK BALANCES!
Today I had the chance to sit down with Nancy Tubbs, who is the Director of the LGBT Resource Center at the University of California, Riverside. We had a great time catching up, and we got to talk about some really great things. We talked about podcasts, including the various NPR ones, Cocktail Hour, and LIFE WORK BALANCES, as well as fan fic at the Academy of Bards, the lack of representations of queer women in media, Nancy’s experience growing up in Texas and getting energy from sitting in silence and reading. We also had a really fun conversation about intellectual property, talked about independent publishing, the ethical use of office copy supplies, and we dove into a critique of 50 Shades of Grey.
