So many time in my life I’ve thought to myself: “Self, you’ve got this. All of your problems are due to things you can’t control!”

I’ve been wrong more than once about that & a recent experience with how locals to Portland, Or are dealing with this weekend’s heat wave has taught me a lot about my views of work, and how they’re not necessarily good just because they’re my own.

In fact, I’m alway realizing new things about myself; and, I think if we can keep being aware, and focusing on the things we believe that we love, we will learn more about ourselves in the process.
